Triton's Revenge

Triton's Revenge is an extra-large abstract painting that captures the essence of the sea with water and waves splashing across the canvas. The warm fiery colors are Triton's battling with sea creatures. Triton is a mythological Greek god, who is known as the messenger of the sea and son of Poseidon. Triton's were a race of sea gods and goddesses born from Triton. 

Triton's father Poseidon is known as the god of the sea; his main domain is the ocean. Triton carries a trident like his father and blows a conch shell like a trumpet to calm or raise the waves at Poseidon's command. Triton is represented by being half-fish; with the lower half having mermaid-like attributes with a human figure on top.
